Governor Adeleke Launches Scholarship for Osun’s Top SSCE Students
Governor Ademola Adeleke has launched the Imole Statewide SSCE Scholarship, awarding ₦1,000,000 to the overall best student, ₦100,000 to top students in each local government, ₦500,000 to the best schools, and special rewards for outstanding teachers.
Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has introduced the Imole Statewide Senior Secondary Certificate Examination Scholarship to reward outstanding SSCE students across the state.
According to a statement from the Commissioner for Education, Dipo Eluwole, the scholarship—supported by Electronic Collections Group—aims to recognize top-performing students from both public and private schools across Osun’s 30 local government areas and area office.
The overall best student in the state will receive a ₦1,000,000 scholarship, while the highest-scoring student from public and private schools in each local government will be awarded ₦100,000.
Additionally, the best-performing public and private schools will receive a ₦500,000 educational support grant, and teachers of the top students will be rewarded with special gift items.

Governor Adeleke reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to improving education standards and urged teachers to prepare students thoroughly for the 2025 SSCE to maximize their chances of qualifying for the scholarship.
