A viral video shows a grateful NYSC corps member visiting her police officer father at his station to salute him and gift him a phone in appreciation for single-handedly sponsoring her education.

A touching video has warmed hearts across social media after a female NYSC corps member surprised her father — a dedicated police officer who single-handedly funded her education — by visiting him at his station to honor him.
The viral clip, shared on X (formerly Twitter) by @Teniola, shows the young corps member walking into her father’s duty post, standing at attention, and giving him a formal military salute. Her father, visibly emotional, returned the salute, creating a powerful moment that has since captivated thousands online.
The young woman described her father as her backbone, her biggest supporter, and the pillar of their family. According to her, he consistently stood by them and never failed in his responsibilities, even when challenges arose.
After saluting him, she proceeded to kneel and present him with a brand-new phone as a token of appreciation. The officer, moved by the gesture, prayed for his daughter while beaming with pride.
The video has continued to trend on X, with many Nigerians praising the father for his sacrifice and commending the daughter for honoring him so publicly and thoughtfully.
