Cursory: A student has gone online to praise her teacher, who has reminded us all the value of z good teacher. The lady revealed that the teacher had shown her kindness after her sister passed by making school work easier. The lady was extremely grateful as she shared the beautiful message she got from her teacher.

“Your heart is slightly larger than the average human heart, but that’s because you’re a teacher.” This statement from Aaron Bacall sums up our instructors’ tireless efforts to provide the greatest education for their kids. This education encompasses more than just academic activities and what is found in textbooks. Additionally, it involves imparting to young minds the need of kindness and empathy.
It is no news that most teachers are strict to the point where it becomes ‘too’ strict. Although some are just trying to set boundaries to not loose respect from the students others are just like that while the rest are just our regular ‘mean’ teachers. In the this kind of tense environment students find it hard to interact with the teachers talk more of expecting compassion or empathy from them.
Because of this, educators should never forget that in addition to serving as role models for students or people to aspire to, educators are also the ones who help students deal with challenging circumstances by acknowledging their feelings. For instance, when a loved one passes away, the person experiences an emotionally fragile state and needs support and compassion.
One wouldn’t be in the right frame of mind to listen to criticism for taking time off from job or school during this period. These circumstances compel your peers, professors, managers, or coworkers to show empathy and humanity. That is not always the case, though, as reality can occasionally be brutal and cruel. However, one professor has made the decision to break this cycle of unkindness by providing a friendly and secure environment for their students.
A student has praised her professor’s remarkable act of kindness after the death of her sister in a sweet post on the r/MadeMeSmile subreddit.
“My sister died yesterday, and I cannot explain how much I appreciate my English professor’s compassion right now,” the student wrote.
The dignity with which this professor spoke to their student at one of the most difficult experiences in history shows how important it is for people to have empathy and compassion. Losing a loved one is one of life’s most agonizing experiences.
“Alyssa, I don’t know what to write. I have two sisters, and… anyway, take all the time you need. No documentation is needed,” the professor wrote in an email. They added that Alyssa would not need to promise not to take another extension.
“I’m giving you blanket flexibility in advance. You’ve already done good work so far, and my goal is for you to get something positive out of the class, and after what’s just happened, if you participate to the extent possible, I’ll make that work,” the email added.
