A Nigerian student, David Alayande, emerged as one of the top scorers in the 2024 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination, achieving an impressive score of 367.
Alongside two other high achievers, David was recognized for his outstanding performance in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). He attributed his success to rigorous preparation and the support he received from his teachers at Zamani College in Kaduna, where he completed his secondary education.
David revealed that his preparation for the JAMB exam involved extensive practice with past questions and Computer-Based Test (CBT) materials. He mentioned that his school conducted numerous pre-mock and mock exams from as early as SS1, which helped him develop a precise study approach.
He also highlighted the importance of the JAMB-specific classes and tutorial sessions provided by his school. Despite scoring 67 in English on his JAMB mock exam, which was his lowest score, David dedicated himself to improving by practicing one English past question daily.

During his graduation ceremony at Zamani College, David was honored with 15 awards of excellence, including a trophy for being the overall best-graduating student.
