JAMB SUBJECT COMBINATION FOR MATHEMATICS AND STATISTICS

English Language(*), Maths, Physics and Chemistry or Biology.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER)

(i) MINNA accepts Geography and does not accept Biology.
(ii) CARITAS requires Mathematics, Physics and one of Chemistry, Economics.
(iii) PHC requires Mathematics and any two (2) of Physics, Chemistry, Economics.

O’LEVEL REQUIREMENT FOR MATHEMATICS AND STATISTICS

Below is the O’level Requirement for Mathematics & Statistics (UTME CANDIDATES)

Five (5) SSC credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics and at least three(3) of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Additional/Further Mathematics.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER)

(i) MINNA accepts Technical Drawing.
(ii) CARITAS requires Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and any three (3) of the following: Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics and Geography.
(iii) PHC requires English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any one (1) from Biology, Geography and Economics.

DIRECT ENTRY REQUIREMENT FOR MATHEMATICS AND STATISTICS

Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics and either Physics or Chemistry.
NCE merit in Mathematics and either Physics or Chemistry.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER)

(i) MINNA accepts NCE/ND/HND credit plus five (5) relevant UTME subjects.
(ii) CALABAR accepts Economics and ND/NCE in Mathematics/Statistics.
(iii) MINNA requires Mathematics and Physics.
(iii) CRUTECH accepts NCE, ND or HND in Statistics or related programme.
(iv) PHC accepts Two (2) A/level GCE or HSC or IJMB or JUPEB passes in Mathematics and any one of Physics, Chemistry or Biology including UTME entry requirements.
(v) CARITAS accepts; a) Bachelor’s Degree in one (1) of Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics and Chemistry. b) NCE/ND/HND Lower credit in one (1) of Mathematics, Statistics, Physics and Chemistry. c) GCE ‘A’ Level/IJMB/JUPEB Passes in Mathematics and one (1) of Physics, Statistics, Chemistry and Economics.
