JAMB will announce the 2025 admission cut-off marks for tertiary institutions on July 8 during its annual policy meeting in Abuja, where key stakeholders will also finalize admission guidelines and recognize top UTME scorers.


The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced it will unveil the official cut-off marks for 2025 admissions into universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, and monotechnics on Tuesday, July 8.
This decision will be made during the annual Policy Meeting on Admissions, which will take place at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja.
“The 2025 Policy Meeting holds on 8th July, 2025 at Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja,” JAMB stated via its official X handle. “The policy meeting is where key decisions on admission guidelines and regulations for the upcoming academic year are finalized. Attendance is by invitation only, but live updates will be shared via our social media platforms.”
The meeting will bring together major stakeholders in Nigeria’s education sector, including vice-chancellors, rectors, and provosts, who will jointly determine the minimum required UTME scores—commonly referred to as cut-off marks—for each category of tertiary institution.
