I Sent Result to 55019 but JAMB haven’t Sent my Result [Answered]

I have Sent ‘Result’ to ‘55019’ but JAMB hasn’t Sent my Result. [See Reason Below].

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the 2026 UTME results, but the problem is that the results are not yet online.

Candidates were instructed to check their results by sending UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019 as a text message.

As expected, some candidates are not able to see their results even after sending that message.

Why Some Candidates May Not See Their JAMB Results?

Some Candidates may NOT see their results because of:

1. Candidates are sending the wrong message to the wrong number! If you don’t send the message correctly, you’ll not see your results. Make sure you’re sending UTMERESULT to 55019.
   OR send UTMERESULT to 66019. DON’T MAKE MISTAKES!
2. Withheld Results: JAMB Boss announced that they withhold over 60,000 results related to exam misconduct. He said those results will be reviewed and if they weren’t involved in exam malpractice, the results will be released.
3. Most times it’s because the portal is really busy. We advise you to resend the message at midnight. From experience, some candidates will see their results when they send the message at midnight.
4. Network Issues: This might be from your network (MTN/glo/airtel, etc) service error. Just try it back later at night, and you’ll see your results.
5. If you have not been charged, then it means you should just give it some time. Most times this problem is from your network.
6. If you have been charged but didn’t receive your result, then you should make sure that your phone number is not on Do Not Disturb (DND). Most new sim cards are on DND by default. See how to remove your Phone number from DND list HERE.

1. Their Results May Have Not Been Released. Candidates in this category shouldn’t worry. Just check it back later! The results are released in batches!
2. Sending the message through the wrong phone number: Make sure you’re sending the message through the exact phone number you used to register for the JAMB.
