Kwara State University, KWASU Student, Esther Olabode has Won Inter-University Oratory Competition, “SpeakAthon”

In a thrilling display of oratory prowess, OLABODE ESTHER, a 500-level student of the Department of Environmental Health Science at Kwara State University (KWASU), has emerged as the champion of the prestigious inter-university oratory competition, “SpeakAthon”.

Held at the University of Ibadan, the event brought together talented students from top institutions across Nigeria, including the University of Ibadan, Lead City University, Ajayi Crowther University, Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Fountain University, and the University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED).

Esther’s outstanding performance on the topic “Whispers of a Dying Planet” earned her the top spot, making her the champion of the 2025 “SpeakAthon” competition.

This achievement showcases the academic excellence and exceptional talent of KWASU students. The Department of Environmental Health Science is proud to celebrate Esther’s success and eagerly anticipates her future endeavours.
