A Nigerian lady, identified as @seyiittan on Twitter, has recounted how her secondary school literature teacher passed away before executing his threat of doubling her strokes of cane.
The lady in a post on Twitter revealed that her literature teacher who promised to double and carry out the flogging during the next class, died the weekend before the class.

She Tweeted;
”Can’t forget that in SS3, I told my literature teacher I was sick and couldn’t take the 6strokes of cane and he told me he’d double it next class but died during the weekend
I was 15, first I was happy I won’t get flogged but then I cried because he was young.”
