Lagos State University, LASU Detailed Online Course Registration Procedure for the 2025/2026 Session has been announced.


The Vice-Chancellor has approved the commencement of the online courses registration for the full-time undergraduate students in the First (1st) Semester of the 2025/2026 academic session.
The Vice-Chancellor has approved the commencement of online course registration for the full-time undergraduate students in the first (1st) semester of the 2025/2026 academic session. All students (both new and returning) are, therefore, enjoined to complete the following:
i. Payment of at least 70% and 50% school fees for Stream 1 and Stream 2, respectively.
ii. Completion of online course registration
iii. Completion of course operations (Add or Delete courses where necessary)
iv. Printing of the Course Registration Form/Examination Slip
v. Endorsement of the Course Registration Form/Examination Slip by the Head of Department
The timeline for the completion of online course registration is two weeks from the date of this release.
Students are to note that, a penalty fee will be charged for the late registration as may be determined by the University Management for defaulting students.
The entire student populace is, therefore, enjoined to complete both the payment of school fees (and other applicable fees) and courses registration immediately.

ACTIVATION OF LATE REGISTRATION PORTAL WITH PAYMENT
- Late online courses registration with the payment of N5,000 (Five Thousand Naira) penalty fee may be activated for defaulting students.
- The entire students’ populace is, therefore, enjoined to complete both the payment of school fees (and other applicable fees) and courses registration immediately.

Furthermore, all new students are to consult with their departments for the list of registerable courses in order to prepare themselves for the online courses registration that will be open soon.
All returning students are to note that their payment portal is yet to be activated and should, therefore, exercise patience and wait for further directives on both payment of school fees and courses registration.
All newly admitted full-time undergraduate students are to note the following:
- All admitted candidates in the 2025/2026 academic session are expected to participate in the online admissions clearance, otherwise known as LACACA.
- Only students who have reached 100% on the LACACA operations platform will be assigned matriculation numbers.
- Only students who have been assigned matriculation numbers will be able to perform all the payments and online registration procedures
- Matriculation numbers can be checked by browsing the university website (www.lasu.edu.ng) and select the STUDENT tab, and then click on CHECK MATRIC NUMBER
- Upload a scanned copy of the ANTI-CULTISM OATH FORM (in .pdf format) on to the registration portal has now formed part of the requirements for online course registration.
- Acquisition of valid NIN and LASRRA identification numbers.
- All students are to consult with their LEVEL ADVISERS for necessary advice and guidance on departmental regulations on the choice of courses to be registered before proceeding online for course registration.
- Ensure payment of at least 70% of the school fee (Stream 1) or 50% school fee (Stream 2).
- Ensure payment of GNS Compendium (Workshop/Seminar) fee; Practical/Workshop/Laboratory fee (for all students admitted into programmes that make use of Laboratory/workshop facilities).
STAGE ONE
- Visit LASU website www.lasu.edu.ng
- Point to STUDENT tab.
- Click on PAYMENT SERVICES.
- Click LASU CONSULT.
- Select FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE GNS COMPENDIUM (WORKSHOP/SEMINAR).
- Continue with the procedure until a successful payment is made.
- Repeat steps I – V as appropriate.
STAGE TWO
- Visit LASU website www.lasu.edu.ng
- Point to STUDENT tab.
- Click on PAYMENT SERVICES.
- Click FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE or FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE (STREAM 2) depending on the Stream of your admission.
- Continue with the procedure until a successful payment of the school fee is made.
BIO-DATA REGISTRATION
- Visit LASU website www.lasu.edu.ng
- Point to STUDENT tab.
- Click on BIODATA REGISTRATION.
- Input your MATRICULATION NUMBER and SURNAME in the appropriate text box.
- Click on SUBMIT.
- Complete the form appropriately and with correct information.
ONLINE COURSES REGISTRATION
- Visit LASU website www.lasu.edu.ng
- Point to STUDENT tab
- Click on COURSE REGISTRATION
- Click on UG COURSE REGISTRATION
- Don’t have a password? Enroll here
- After the creation of password, input your MATRICULATION NUMBER and PASSWORD to gain access to your registration portal.
- Upload your duly completed ANTI-CULTISM OATH FORM.
- All students are to read and agree to the LASU Code of Conduct by checking each of the checkboxes one after the other and click on submit.
- Complete your courses registration and print the Main Registration Form, Course Registration Form, and Examination Slip.
- Submit all the printed documents to your Department for endorsement by the Head of Department.
An unsigned course form shall not be recognised as evidence of registration.
ONLY REGISTERED STUDENTS WILL BE ISSUED IDENTIFICATION CARDS, PERMITTED TO WRITE EXAMINATIONS, AND HAVE SEMESTER RESULTS.
Students are advised to avoid using proxy for all their payments, and ensure printing of transaction receipt after each successful payment.
