Admission Requirements

LUTH School of Biomedical Engineering (FSBE) – ND

1. Applicant must have five (5) Credit level passes in SSCE (WASCE, NECO or GCE O/L) at not more than two sittings, which must include: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
2. Must pass Jamb
3. NOTE: Awaiting result is accepted

LUTH Community Health Officer Training School (CHOTS)

• Holders of Diploma in Community Health with not less than two years post-qualification experience plus, five (5) credit level passes in SSCE (WASCE, NECO OR GCE O/L) at not more than two sittings, which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
• Community Health Extension Workers with five (5) Credit level passes in SSCE (WASCE, NECO or GCE O/L) at not more than two sittings, which must include: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
• Applicants must be registered with the Community Health Practitioners’ Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN) and possess a valid practice license.

LUTH School of Post Basic Nursing (SPBN)

• Applicant must have five (5) Credit level passes in SSCE (WASCE, NECO or GCE O/L) at not more than two sittings, which must include: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
• Must be a registered Nurse with Two (2) years post qualification
• References must be a Clergyman, DNS/Apex Nurse or ADNS/DDNS
• NOTE: Awaiting result is accepted

LUTH School of Medical and Psychiatry Social Work (MPSW)

• Applicant must have five (5) Credit level passes in SSCE (WASCE, NECO or GCE O/L) at not more than two sittings, which must include: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
• Candidates applying for the programme must have obtained PGD/Msc/first degrees qualification in relevant fields (e.g Social Sciences, Nursing, etc) in addition to relevant work experience.
• NOTE: Awaiting result is accepted

LUTH School of Midwifery (SOM)

1. Applicant must have five (5) Credit level passes in SSCE (WASCE, NECO or GCE O/L) at not more than two sittings, which must include: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
2. Must be a Registered Nurse (RN), Certified with NMCN
3. Must have at least 6 months post Registration experience.
4. NOTE: Awaiting result is accepted

LUTH School of Post Basic Nursing Available Programmes & Duration.

Programmes:

1. Accident & Emergency Nursing
2. Ophthalmic Nursing
3. Paediatric Nursing
4. Perioperative Nursing

Duration.

The programme will last for One (1) Year

How to Apply LUTH Admission Forms.

• Visit the Admission Portal https://luth.gov.ng/schools and click on your desired school.
• Complete the account creation Form Ensure you supply correct information and functional email address. An email containing your login details will be sent to you after the account creation. Through the email, you will get information on how to make payment, immediately or on a later date.
• If you desire to make payment immediately, a prompt to “MAKE PAYMENT will be highlighted after the account creation.
• You will be redirected to the Remita website where you can make payment. A Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code automatically generated when your account was created will be attached. Please be informed that various means of payment is supported on the platform.
• On successful completion of payment, the applicant should visit https://luth.gov.ng/profile, login with the user ID sent through the email and complete the Application Form for the desired program

Note: APPLICANTS MUST PRINT OUT THEIR COMPLETED ONLINE APPLICATION BIO-DATA WHICH IS SENT TO THEIR EMAIL ON COMPLETION OF APPLICATION. SHORT-LISTED APPLICANTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PRESENT THIS DURING THE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

Thursday 4th August 2022.

The deadline to apply for the LUTH Admission Forms is Six (6) weeks from the date of publication. The application was published on the 23rd of June 2022. Hence the closing date is Thursday 4th August 2022.

PLEASE NOTE: Federal School of Biomedical Engineering (FSBE) is exempted from the above.
