A Nigerian man was shocked after attending his child’s PTA meeting and seeing very young, 2002-born parents behaving in ways he felt showed how much times have changed.

A Nigerian man has sparked reactions online after sharing his surprising experience at his child’s Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) meeting, describing it as very different from what he used to know.
In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter), he expressed frustration, saying the gathering no longer feels as serious as it once was. According to him, many of the parents he saw appeared quite young, which left him stunned.
He remarked that people born around 2002 are now parents actively participating in school meetings, something he found hard to process. The situation made him reflect on how quickly time has passed and how much society has changed.
The man also pointed out that several attendees had tattoos and piercings, adding to his surprise as he sat among individuals he still considers much younger.
He further highlighted one parent who stood out during the meeting because of his behavior, noting that the man seemed eager to show off his diamond-studded teeth by constantly smiling, even when he had nothing to contribute.
The video quickly went viral, with many social media users reacting humorously. Some expressed disbelief at how young parents now attend PTA meetings, while others joked about the man proudly displaying his dental jewelry.
Overall, the clip has sparked a mix of amusement and reflection, with many agreeing that times have indeed changed.
