A Nigerian lady went viral after attending a PTA meeting on behalf of her mother, who returned to secondary school, sharing how the emotional experience made her proud of her mum’s determination to pursue education later in life.

A young Nigerian woman has warmed hearts online after attending a Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) meeting on behalf of her mother — a secondary school student in her final year.
The lady shared a touching video of the event, reflecting on how the visit brought back memories of her own school days and deep admiration for her mum’s courage to pursue education later in life.

Daughter Represents Her Mother at PTA Meeting
In a viral TikTok video posted via her handle @morgana.porsche, the woman explained that her mother, currently in SS3, had a scheduled PTA meeting she couldn’t attend. Wanting to show support, she decided to represent her mum as her guardian.
“On Saturday, I did something completely random — I attended a PTA meeting, not for my child but for my mum,” she said in the video. “She’s in SS3, and I went as her guardian. It might sound funny, but it turned out to be such a sweet and memorable experience.”
She described feeling nostalgic as she walked through the school corridors, recalling her own student days.
“The moment I stepped into the school, it felt so nostalgic. Everyone else came with their parents, and there I was, representing my mum. Honestly, it felt more like big sister energy than guardian energy,” she added with a laugh.
An Inspiring Return to Education
The lady revealed that her mother decided to go back to school to complete the education she had missed earlier in life. Seeing her mum among younger classmates filled her with pride.
“You could tell this wasn’t just a regular PTA meeting — it was a moment of reflection. Watching her interact with classmates reminded me that it’s never too late to chase your dreams,” she said.
She also showed parts of the school, including classrooms and vocational workshops where students learn practical skills, praising how neat and well-organized the environment looked.
“The facilities looked so good — everything neat, structured, and improved,” she added.
