Cursory: Dr Richard Evans managed to go through school courtesy of financial assistance and scholarships from well-wishers

Dr Richard is a Kenyan veterinary surgeon based in the UK. He recently passed the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) exams and became the first Kenyan to be registered as a vet in the UK.
Dr Richard Evans, a man who was sponsored through Harambees in the village and often had to do carpentry gigs to raise money for his upkeep, being poor is something he understands.
He studied through financial turmoil, but he overcame the struggles to not only find his way abroad but also come back to help others.
For this reason, he started the Dr Evans Richard Foundation to help needy students access education.
Richard noted that the foundation started without funds, but his passion and desire to transform people’s lives have seen him through the years.
The first cohort of Sirleaf and Erick, whom he transferred from day schools to boarding, are currently in Form Two and Form Four, respectively.
