Man Whose Student Visa Was Denied 7 Times, Celebrates As His Story Turns Around

An African Man, Toyyib Adewale, whose Visa to Study Abroad was denied seven good times, 25-years-later, has revealed how his life has taken a drastic turn.

A path to success has never been the same. Some people get it easier, while some face numerous rejections. Toyyib Adewale Adelodun is among the latter. He didn’t face 1, 2, or even 3 but 7 student-visa rejections. Imagine that!

Sharing his story on Twitter, Toyyib said those days, it felt like he would never find what he was searching for.

However, he didn’t give up. Just one win was what he needed, a win that canceled all his losses.

A win that didn’t just give light to his dream of studying abroad but also enabled him to help his siblings move abroad and also give his parents a memorable vacation.

Toyyib said: Sometimes, you knock on a door so hard, and it feels like it will never open, but when God opens it, the hinges will come off patapata.

My student visa application was denied 7 times.I got it the eight time.A few years later, my brother also left, then my sister, then my parents on holiday. If you told me 25 years ago, all that is possible, I would say, “Never!”.

“Your win will turn so many things around. Stay positive,” Toyyib advised people going through one challenge or the other, while also praying that God gives them the patience and strength to see them through it.

Today, Toyyib is now a successful Personal Development Coach, Civil Engineer and Investor.

His story resonated with many, which prompted one Victor to take their social media handle and share his.

It looks like my siblings and I university education story. I finished secondary school in 2006 and gaining admission became an issue. I finally got in 2017 (11years later),my brothers got in 2018 and 2019 respectively. I and my immediate younger brother will be graduating in two months time,” Vitor’s tweet wrote.

Others thanked him for his encouraging words:

Caleb wrote: Bro, Thank you so much 4 encouraging me. I ve been denied severally even at a point I thought maybe its evil spirit causing all the denial. bt second thought is, if its evil spirit why would dey allow me to get admitted in d school and when it comes 2d visa part dey wil show up.
