An 11-year-old boy Angel Arhin, from Ghana has made history for being the first African to win the Spelling Bee award.


Angel Ankamah Arhin is a very famous young boy who is commonly called Angel Arhin. He hails from Ghana and was born in 2010. Angel Ankamah Arhin is a primary six student of the prestigious University Cape Coast Basic School.
According to Legit.ng, Angel Ankamah Arhin emerging as the first in Africa and the second runner-up in this year’s world Inter- Continental Spelling Bee competition held in Dubai.
Angel Ankamah Arhin bagged the award by placing 3rd at the Spelling Bee competition which is held in Dubai , Angel won the inter-school’s tournament which is organized in his hometown called Ghana and he proced to represent Ghana at the international level.


The spelling bee contest was organized by famous Edupro organisation which is located in Ghana, with sponsorship from his parents and also from the Ghana Education Service.
Angel Ankamah Arhin is a very talented and educated young boy who has made his parents and African continent very proud of him and a role model for others in society
