Meet Young Man Who has Helped Over 100 Students Get Scholarship in 2yrs, Says He Will Do More

CURSORY: A Young African man has aimed to assist intelligent but underprivileged students in obtaining international scholarships.

Promise Selorm Abedu, a Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) alumni is becoming quite popular because of this intention to help Ghanaian students get international scholarships.

Currently studying at the University of Rochester in the United States, Selorm provides intelligent but underprivileged students with the support they need to be admitted to prestigious universities in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada through his nonprofit organization, the Ckodon Foundation.

So far, he has been able to help over 100 students gain scholarship to more than 57 universities abroad

The support helps student by sponsoring eligible students’ registration for the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) and the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).

Additionally, the organization offers admitted students free assistance with the visa application process.

In a video seen on the X page of the Ckodon Foundation, Selorm highlighted the advancements the foundation has made in its two years of operation.

He stated that the foundation has assisted more than 100 undergraduate and graduate students in being accepted into some of the best US universities, such as Princeton University, Harvard University, Yale University, California Institute of Technology, Cornell University, and California Institute of Technology.

“To date, we have facilitated admissions to 57 different institutions, winning over $35 million in total scholarships.” He made a donation appeal to individuals, companies, and organizations in order to further his goal of assisting talented but underprivileged youngsters in pursuing tertiary education.
