The event, which took place in Nasarawa Local Government Area, welcomed approximately 15,000 newly admitted students for the 2024/2025 academic session. These students enrolled in National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), and Part-Time programs.
Dr. Muhammad urged the new students to steer clear of examination malpractices, using the expulsion of their predecessors as a cautionary example. “Let the experience of the expelled students serve as a lesson to all. This institution has zero tolerance for any form of academic dishonesty,” she emphasized.
She also encouraged students to avoid social vices such as drug abuse, indecent dressing, and cultism, while fostering a culture of peaceful coexistence on campus.
