Due to financial difficulties, after high school, instead of furthering his education, he had to stay home and work as a teacher to raise money for his tertiary institution.

His profile reads:
Master Abdul Rahman Lansah started his academic journey at Koblimahagu Sobriya Islamic School, where he had a great time learning. He was always a diligent student, and in 2014, had the honour of being the best student in his school when he wrote the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
