No! JAMB Form Is NOT Coming Out on January 31st, 2026. Here’s What You Need to Know.
Over the past few days, several top media platforms reported that the 2026 JAMB UTME Form would be released on Friday, January 31st, 2026, and that registration would close on Saturday, March 8th, 2026.
This information is not correct, and here’s why.
Where the Confusion Came From
The dates being shared online are actually the dates JAMB used in 2025, not 2026. Unfortunately, some reputable media outlets reposted the old schedule, and it spread quickly.
Here’s what to know:
- 31st January 2026 is NOT Saturday — it is Friday.
- 8th March 2026 is NOT Saturday — it is Sunday.
Because the days do not match, it is clear the viral dates are outdated.
As of this moment, JAMB has NOT released the official dates for the 2026 UTME Registration. Any date you see circulating online should be ignored.
But don’t worry, the moment the real dates are released, ALLSCHOOL will update you immediately.
2026 JAMB Timeline, What We Expect Based on Past Years
Even though the official dates are yet to be published, JAMB has maintained a consistent pattern over the years. Here’s the timeline we expect for 2026 UTME:
- Commencement of Registration: January 2026
- Registration Deadline: March 2026
- 2026 UTME Mock Exam: April 2026
- Printing of Exam Slips: April 2026
- 2026 UTME Exam Date: April – May 2026
- Release of UTME Results: May 2026
- 2026 Direct Entry Deadline: Likely on or before June 2026
These are projections based on JAMB’s usual schedule. The official dates will align closely with this structure.
