CURSORY: A 100-level female student of Nasarawa State University Keffi (NSUK) commits suicide.


It was reported that 21-year-old Sarah, the fourth and last child of her family, and a microbiology undergraduate, committed suicide by taking poison as a result of intense feelings and depression.
According to reports, the incident happened on Friday night at an off-campus lodge next to the Family and Friends Hotel, which is located across from Nasarawa State University in Keffi.
Her male friend, who announced her passing on Facebook, confirmed the unpleasant incident.
According to him, “We spoke with her on Thursday night, and she was scheduled to travel from Keffi to Akwanga, to attend a wedding on Saturday, and then return on Sunday. I only found out about her untimely death on Sunday.”
It was learned that some neighbors and students attempted, to save her, by giving her palm oil but it proved abortive.
Since then, the deceased’s lifeless body has been placed at the mortuary in Keffi.
The deceased’s relative also announced on Facebook that she would be laid to rest this Saturday in her rural home of Akwanga.
