The NYSC has denied claims that it refused to register SLT graduates at the Gombe camp, confirming that all graduates, including those without NISLT certification, were registered without issues, and urged against spreading misinformation.

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has denied allegations that it refused to register Science and Laboratory Technology (SLT) graduates at the Gombe State orientation camp.
Gombe State NYSC Coordinator, Mrs. Chinwe Nwachuku, described the claims as “untrue and baseless,” clarifying that all SLT graduates, including those without professional certificates from the National Institute for Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT), were registered in line with NYSC headquarters’ directives.
Supporting this, SLT graduates Oluwabunmi Alfred and Luka Shekwolo confirmed that their registration process was seamless, refuting the misinformation that SLT graduates were denied registration. Nwachuku urged those spreading false information to verify facts before publication, emphasizing NYSC’s commitment to inclusive practices for all corps members.
