CURSORY: School principal has recently been called out for subjecting Alumni students to menial Labour before releasing their results to them.

It is a custom now for most secondary schools, especially government-owned ones to make ex-students who come to collect their original results perform hard and menial labour before releasing the results.
This tasks could range from grass cutting, toilet washing, classroom sweeping, plate washing (for boarding schools), staffroom cleaning to mention but a few.
Most of this ex students end up spending more time than they planned to, and more money than they budgeted before they are even asked what they came for.
Recently, one of these types of school a has been called out as a Tweeter user Ijebu Princess, called out the principal of FGGC, Sagamu, and accused the principal of subjecting former students to manual labour before handing them their certificates.
Ijebu Princess who made the allegation on Twitter, said she made an alumni student who graduated 20 years ago to sweep before collecting her certificate.
In her words:
“You guys, that’s how the current principal of FGGC Sagamu Mrs Muyibat Olodo made an alumni who graduated from the school 20 years ago sweep the staff car park before she could get her certificate today.
“We have it on good authority that she made another alumni (who was a nursing mother) cut grass before releasing that one’s certificate of too.So basically if you need any sort of documentation from the school you are made to do some sort of manual labour including washing toilet before you can get anything done as an alumni.”
