The governor called on the federal government to adopt the adire fabric as attire for National events, as well as the making of ceremonial dresses from adire for the nation’s athlete taking part in international sports.
He made the announcement during the luanch of Ogun Adire Digital market place, at the June 12 cultural center, kuto Abeokuta.
According to the governor, the gesture is meant to further promote the rich culture of the nation to the outside world.
