Resilient Woman Overcomes Four Failures to Become a Registered Nurse in the U.S.

Amiyah Allen, an American woman, has successfully passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) on her fifth attempt, earning her nursing license after overcoming significant challenges, including self-doubt and discouragement, since graduating nursing school in May 2023.Despite facing setbacks, she remained determined and encourages others not to lose hope, emphasizing that delays do not signify denial; she has also been accepted into Southern Illinois University Edwardsville’s Nursing Program to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.

Amiyah Allen, an American woman, has triumphed over adversity by passing the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) on her fifth attempt, securing her license to practice as a nurse in the United States.

After graduating from nursing school in May 2023, Amiyah faced significant challenges during her journey, including moments of self-doubt and discouragement following four unsuccessful tries.

However, she persevered and ultimately succeeded in July 2024, expressing gratitude for the lessons learned along the way.

Amiyah encourages others facing similar struggles to remain hopeful, emphasizing that delays do not equate to denial.

She has also been accepted into Southern Illinois University Edwardsville’s Nursing Program to pursue her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
