University Student Invents Car With 3 Wheels, Drives It With Pride in Video

Cursory: A student at the Tamale Technical University has invented a 3-wheel car without obtaining any training. According to Salifu Mohammed the inventor, he spent about 17,000 Ghana cedis (~N640k or $1,400) on the invention. Salifu is working hard to make the car electric, such that it can be affordable to many.

Salifu Mohammed, a Mechanical Engineering student of the Tamale Technical University (TaTu), has invented a three-wheel car. He used the never-seen 3-wheel car to carry an interviewer who wanted to speak with him in a trending video.

“I want to make it an electric car because of the constant surge in fuel prices, so it will be cheap for everyone,” he in an interview posted on the Facebook handle of Sagani TV.

According to Salifu, he started creating innovative equipment and machines to solve societal problems since he was a child, which is why he decided to gain more knowledge in school.

He also mentioned that his three-wheel vehicle will be made electric, so everyone in the middle class can afford it. Salifu spent about 17,000 Ghana cedis on his invention.
