Cursory: Chloe Stein lied about being pulled over by a police officer and fabricated her own kidnapping while lying to her boyfriend and the authorities. Stein was reported missing, and police started looking for her. However, it was soon found out that Stein had made up the entire incident. Stein’s family believed she was about to graduate from college, but it was later discovered that she had not been there for more than a year and a half.

Chloe Stein, a Pennsylvania resident who works as a waitress, went missing after leaving the establishment where she was last seen.

According to the New York Post, Stein texted her partner that evening to say that she had been stopped by police while driving down a lonely road in the township, after which she disappeared for the next 20 hours.

Police issued a missing person alert and started looking for the young woman. It didn’t take long until the police got a tip that Stein was safe at a friend’s house nearby.

She was brought in for questioning, and it became evident that she had walked the three miles to the house after leaving her car with her phone inside.

Stein initially claimed police she had been kidnapped at gunpoint by a masked guy and released close to her home; however, she later acknowledged she had made up the entire incident, according to court documents, as reported by WTAE.

Currently, the woman is being held on a number of counts, including false reports, disruptive conduct, and obstructing the administration of justice and other governmental activities.

According to a university administrator, Stein hadn’t been attending classes for more than a year and a half when she was supposed to graduate from college, contrary to what Stein’s family had believed.
