Nigerian student, Modupe Akintan emerge as top graduating student in the Computer Engineering department at Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD) with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.84 out of 5.00.


Modupe Akintan has made history as the top graduating student in the Computer Engineering department at Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD). With a remarkable Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.84 out of 5.00, she earned a well-deserved first-class honors degree.
Akintan’s outstanding academic achievements have garnered significant recognition. She was honored as the university’s best graduating student in Computer Engineering and has also earned a Microsoft certification.
In a LinkedIn post, Modupe shared her excitement about her accomplishments: “I graduated from Afe Babalola University as the BEST GRADUATING STUDENT in the Department of COMPUTER ENGINEERING with a C.G.P.A of 4.84/5.00 and also got inducted as a Graduate member of the Azure Expert.”
Despite the challenges of balancing her studies with active involvement in various organizations, Modupe excelled in her academic pursuits. She served as a member and the editor-in-chief of the Student Representative Council at ABUAD, the first co-academic secretary of the Nigerian Universities Engineering Student Association at ABUAD, and the inaugural student branch chairman of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) at the university.
