A heartwarming video captures the emotional moment a corps member, @Cutedhera, bids farewell to her students after completing her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) assignment at a secondary school.
The students were visibly emotional, shedding tears as they learned she was leaving, expressing their deep attachment to her. In the video, she is seen comforting the students and handing out farewell gifts, including cartons of biscuits, as a token of appreciation.
Sharing the video, she reflected on the bittersweet experience, writing:
“I felt a whirlwind of emotions during my final PPA visit as my students poured their hearts out, tears flowing freely. I’m grateful for God’s blessings, success, and strength throughout this journey. Though I never liked NYSC, leaving these students made me realize how much I’ll miss them. Their genuine display of love made it a bittersweet farewell, and their tears spoke volumes about the bond we shared.”
