UBA Bank Announces Job Vacancies for Graduates, Sets Deadline

Cursory: The United Bank for Africa (UBA) has posted job openings for graduates to fill a variety of positions. Graduates without experience who satisfy the basic requirements for the positions can apply. UBA, meanwhile, produced strong financial results in 2022 and the first quarter of 2023 and is now seeking to expand on the performance.

Following its remarkable financial performance in 2022 and the first quarter of 2023, United Bank for Africa (UBA) announced job openings for graduates. The bank generated a commendable profit before tax of N200.8 billion in its 2022 audited financial result that was presented to the Nigerian exchange.

That represents a rise of 31.2% over the N153.01 billion reported at the conclusion of the fiscal year 2021. A solid performance in the first three months of 2023 followed the outstanding 2022 performance.

Checks reveal that UBA recorded an increase of N53.58 billion from N41.49 billion in Q1 2022 to N53.58 billion in Q1 2023. On Thursday, April 20, 2023, UBA made plans to hire more people into its organization in order to expand on the success already achieved.

The post shared on its LinkedIn page reads: “We are looking for capable applicants to fill a diverse range of positions. Candidates must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree (2nd Class Lower) from a recognized university, provide evidence of completing the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program or have an exemption certificate.

In addition, applicants must be no older than 27 by October 2023 and have no more than two years of job experience, according to UBA. Interested applicants should visit jointhetribe.ubagroup.com to submit their applications. April 28, 2023, was set as the application cutoff date.
