Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) has dismissed three employees for misconduct, including result manipulation, sexual harassment, and absenteeism, reinforcing its zero-tolerance policy on unethical behavior.


Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) has dismissed three employees for violating the institution’s code of conduct, citing offenses such as result manipulation, sexual harassment, and dereliction of duty.
The decision was approved during the university’s 171st regular meeting on March 12, 2025, according to the institution’s spokesperson, Ismail Yauri.
Yauri emphasized that the disciplinary action aligns with UDUS’s strict “zero tolerance” policy on unethical behavior.
“The affected individuals have been formally notified of their dismissal,” he stated. “This move reaffirms the university’s commitment to upholding academic integrity and ensuring a safe and professional environment for both students and staff.”
