“Why will I use 140k to study this kind of course” – University Student Protests School Fees Increase [Video]

Cursory: Night King, a University student protested the recent substantial increase in school fees from N21K to N140K. He voiced his concerns to fish sellers at a market square, questioning how he could afford the exorbitant amount required for his course.

A marine biology and fisheries student from the University of Lagos (UNILAG) expressed his dissatisfaction with the recent rise in tuition fees at federal institutions across the country.

The student, known as Night King, visited a local market square to voice his concerns about the sudden and significant fee increment.

In the video he shared on social media, Night King passionately conveyed his message to the fish sellers at the market, informing them about UNILAG’s decision to increase school fees from N21K to N140K.

He expressed disbelief at the steep rise in fees and questioned how he would manage to afford such a large amount of money for a course like Fisheries.
