UNILAG Graduate With 319 JAMB Score and 5 As in WAEC Shares CGPA, Sparks Reactions

A UNILAG graduate, Tunde Mustapha, went viral after revealing that he scored 319 in JAMB, earned five As in WAEC, and graduated with a First Class degree in Accounting with a CGPA of 4.77.

A graduate of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has drawn widespread attention online after sharing his outstanding academic journey, including his UTME score, WAEC results, and final CGPA.

The graduate, identified as Tunde Mustapha, revealed that he scored 319 in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination and earned five As in the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) before gaining admission into UNILAG to study Accounting.

Taking to X, Tunde shared photos from his graduation ceremony and announced that he graduated with a First Class degree, finishing with an impressive CGPA of 4.77.

In his post, he outlined his academic milestones, noting that he achieved a 5.0 GPA in his first year and progressed steadily through professional accounting certifications with ICAN, qualifying fully before graduation. He also disclosed that he received five scholarships during his undergraduate studies, including awards from FSB (twice), Seplat, and the Oyo State Government.

Beyond academics, the accounting graduate said he interned with two advisory firms, where he gained hands-on experience in financial modelling, business planning, and pitch deck development, adding that some projects he worked on have already been launched.

His post attracted massive engagement online, with many users praising his discipline, consistency, and academic excellence, describing his journey as inspiring to young Nigerians.
