A Nigerian boy, Jisiechimike Chigor Chimdindu, the son of a UNN professor, whose result went viral over his sadness on the out come of his WAEC Result has been selected for the 2024 EducationUSA bootcamp, potentially leading to a fully funded scholarship in the United States.

Jisiechimike Chigor Chimdindu, the son of a University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) professor, who was disappointed with his 2024 WAEC results despite scoring distinctions, has been chosen to participate in the 2024 EducationUSA bootcamp.
His WAEC results initially gained attention when shared online by Twitter personality Alex Onyia, surprising many given Jisiechimike’s high performance.
Recently, Onyia announced on X (formerly Twitter) that Jisiechimike’s selection for the bootcamp could lead to a fully funded scholarship to study in the United States.
Onyia praised the young scholar, calling him a genius, and expressed excitement for the opportunities ahead.
Online reactions include praise for Jisiechimike’s achievements, anticipation for his future, and some caution about the use of the term “genius” in describing his abilities.
