Marvellous Ihekwoaba graduated with distinction in Radiography from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, winning five awards, including best graduating male student, while emphasizing the importance of balance, consistency, and diligence in achieving success.


Marvellous Ihekwoaba, a remarkable student from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nigeria, graduated with distinction in Radiography and won five prestigious awards, including the title of best graduating male student in his class.
In addition to earning his honors degree, Marvellous was recognized as the second overall best-graduating student of the university and was inducted into the Medical Radiography profession, receiving certification and licensure to practice in Nigeria.
Reflecting on his journey, Marvellous shared on LinkedIn how he once worried about his basic courses in high school, but went on to achieve excellence in university.
Among his accolades, Marvellous won the best graduating student award in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), where he plans to specialize. He also received the Legislator of the Year award and Outstanding Leadership award for his role as Speaker of the House of Representatives in his department.
Marvellous expressed gratitude to God, his parents, and family for supporting him throughout his academic journey. He emphasized the importance of balance, prioritization, and time management, noting that while he was heavily involved in extracurricular activities—including school politics and sports—he always prioritized his academics, leading to his success.
Advising other students, Marvellous stressed that while intelligence is helpful, consistency and diligence are crucial for achieving success in any field. He encouraged setting high goals, believing in oneself, and striving for excellence as keys to greatness. Now entering the labor market, Marvellous is confident that his identity, education, skills, and sense of purpose will be the foundation for his future success.
