Cursory: JAMB advises UTME 2024 candidates to bring only a copy of their examination slip, not the registration slip. See details…

As candidates gear up for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) 2024, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued important advice. JAMB urged candidates not to bring their registration slip to the examination center. Instead, candidates can bring either a photocopy or colored copy of their examination slip reprint.
In a statement released on Saturday, April 13, JAMB emphasized that candidates should only bring one copy of the examination notification slip to their center. The 2024 UTME is set to begin on Friday, April 19, and conclude on Monday, April 29.
JAMB shared this information on its official X account (formerly Twitter), stating, “You can go with anyone (examination notification slip). However, you should ensure you don’t go there with more than a copy of the examination notification slip — not registration slip.”
