O’level REQUIREMENT FOR CRIMINOLOGY

Below is the UTME Requirement for Criminology in Faculty of Law;

  • Five SSCE credit passes in English Language Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science and any other Science subject..

  • No Special Consideration!!!.

DIRECT ENTRY REQUIREMENT FOR CRIMINOLOGY

Below is the DIRECT ENTRY (DE) Requirement for Criminology in Faculty of Law;

  • Two ‘A’ level passes in Economics and any one of Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Agric Science, Accounting, Business Management, History and Government.
VIEW SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS (WAIVER)
  • OAU accepts
    a. ‘A’ Level passes in Economics and any two (2) from Government, Geography, Mathematics and Statistics
    b. ND/HND upper credit in Mathematics, Statistics.
  • COOUand ESUTECH accepts ND with GPA not below 2.50 (on 4.0 scale) NCE, HND and First Degree.
  • UDU accepts ND credit in Business Studies and Statistics.
  • IBADAN accepts two (2)’A’ Level passes but ‘O’ Level credit passes should include Mathematics and Economics.
  • EBSU and MAIDUGURI accept ND upper credit/HND upper credit in relevant programmes plus the UTME requirements.
  • OOU accepts ND upper credit in Marketing, General Administration e.t.c. of OOU at least Lower Credit.
  • BAYERO does not accept Chemistry, Physics, and Agricultural Science and History.
  • UNIZIK accepts two (2)’A’ Level passes from Economics, Mathematics and Political Science. Direct Entry Applicants must possess the UTME requirements.
  • UNN requires the UTME requirements.
  • DELSU accepts
    a) At least two subjects at the Advanced Level which must include Economics.
    b) DELSU Diploma with merit passes in Accounting or Business Administration.
  • EKSU accepts any of the following:
    (a) Five (5)’O’ Level credit passes in Mathematics, Economics, English Language and two (2) other subjects one of which must be from the Social Sciences.
    (b) Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Economics and any of Geography, Government and Mathematics.
  • COVENANT accepts ND upper credit in Marketing, Business Administration or Banking and Finance.
  • IGBINEDION accepts ND lower credit in Accounting, Business Administration/ Banking and Finance; NCE in Economics, Mathematics or any other Social Science subject.
  • AL-HIKMAH accepts two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Economics and any other relevant subject.
  • CUAB requires two (2) ‘A’ Level passes to include Mathematics and either Economics or Accounting. Accepts NCE/ND and approved equivalent of at least upper credit in relevant programmes and IJMB at acceptable levels
  • JOS does not require ‘O’ Level credit pass in History and does not accept ND, HND and NCE as entry requirements.
  • AAUA does not accept Physics, Chemistry or Agricultural Science but accepts NDupper credit and HND lower credit level in relevant programmes.
  • UYO accepts ND/HND in relevant programmes plus the UTME requirements.
  • AJAYI accepts ‘A’ Level or equivalents in Economics and one of Accounting, Business Management, Mathematics, Geography and Government.
  • BIU same as in Accounting
  • BOWEN – Same as in Accountancy.
  • UNIOSUN accepts ND upper credit and approved equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration and Banking and Finance.
  • AUN accepts
    a. ‘A’ Level passes chosen from Mathematics, Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Literature in English, Government, History, Economics,  Geography, Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Visual Arts, Computer Studies, Information Technology, Civics, and French.
    b. Does not accept ‘O’ Level credit passes in the following; Agriculture, Food and Nutrition, Home Economics, Home Craft, Home management, Physical Education, Physical and Health Education, Music, Commerce, Accounting, Financial Accounting, Book Keeping, Islamic History, Religious Studies, Tajweed, Library Studies, Diction, Kiswahili, Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, Arabic, Turkish, Study skills.
    c. Accepts ICGSE and ‘A’ Level Cambridge and does not offer admissions direct to 200 level programs. May transfer credits relevant to its major at the discretion of the Dean of school.
  • CRAWFORDaccepts;
    a. Statistics.
    b. NCE passes in Economics, Mathematics or any Social Science subject.
    c. ND/HND in relevant subjects not lower than lower credit.
  • WESTERN-DEL accepts two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Economics and one other subject.
  • BELLS – Same as in Accounting.
  • AUE accepts NCE upper merit or equivalent in relevant subjects in addition to the UTME requirements.
  • DELSU requires two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Economics and any one of Geography, Government and Mathematics. Accepts ND upper credit in Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing, Statistics and Banking/Finance. Accepts NCE in Economics.
  • FED-OYE EKITI requires two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Economics, and any one of Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, Business Management; Government, Geography and Statistics. Or OND in Business Administration, Statistics and Banking and Finance.
  • KWASU accepts IJMB Cambridge only.
  • RHEMA accepts ND in Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Accounting or NCE in Economics plus the UTME requirements.
  • RENAISSANCE accepts NCE, ND/HND or First Degree plus five (5) credit passes at ‘O’ Level subjects other than those passed at ‘A’ Level.
  • FED-OYE EKITI for Criminology and Security Studies requires two (2) ‘A’ Level passes chosen from Economics, Accounts, Business Management, Government, Geography or Statistics.
  • BAYERO does not accept Chemistry, Physics, and Agricultural Science & History.
  • NDU accepts
    a. Two (2)’A’ Level passes in Economics and any one of the following: Geography, Statistics, History, Accounting, Business Management.
    b. ND upper credit or NCE credit relevant to Economics combination
  • NILE – Same as in Accounting.
  • CUAB – Same as in Banking and Finance.
  • EBSU accepts HND, NCE and ND merit and upper credit respectively in relevant programmes.
  • UMYUK accepts IJMB with a minimum of nine (9) points in Economics and two (2) other Social Science or Management Science subjects or ND in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Purchasing and Supply Economics/Cooperative with lower credit. NCE in Economics and Mathematics with a minimum of nine (9) points.
  • ESUTECH – in addition to Direct Entry requirements,  requires three (3) additional ‘O’ Level credit passes in subjects other than those passed at ‘A’ Level.
  • SOSU requires candidates to also satisfy ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two (2) Arts or Social Sciences subjects.
  • LAGOS accepts Very good passes in three JUPEB/A Level subjects: Economics, Mathematics and any one of Accounting, Geography, Government, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Three Cambridge ‘A’ Level passes in Economics, Mathematicsand any one of the following: Accounting, Geography, Mathematics, Government, Physics and Biology.
  • ABUJA accepts two (2)’A’ Level passes in Economics and any of Science, Social Sciences, Management subjects or History/Government or NCE minimum ten (10) points or ND with upper credit in relevant programmes in addition to the UTME requirements.
  • UNIKINGS same as in Accounting.
  • MCPHERSON accepts
    a. ND upper credit in relevant programmes.
    b. Foundation of professional examinations such as ICAN, ACCA, ICMA& CIBN.
  • ODUDUWA accepts NCE merit in relevant subjects.
  • CHRISTOPHER accepts two (2) ‘A’ Level passes including Economics and any of Sciences, Social Sciences, Management subjects or History/Government. HND, ND or NCE credit in the relevant subjects.
  • ILORIN accepts

I have a bothering question. The course Intelligence and security studies is said to be in faculty of Law, why are they still requesting for science based subjects in JAMB combination.

Secondly, how much is the school fee for Intelligence and security studies in Afe Babalola university?
