Zamfara State Government said it has approved the release of fifty million Naira for the renovation and upgrading of the state NYSC permanent camp in Tsafe Local Government Area of the state.


Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle made this known at the swearing-in ceremony of the 2020 Batch ‘A’ stream 1 corps members held at Tsafe Permanent Orientation Camp.
Represented by the Commissioner for Youth Development, Skills Acquisition and Sports, Abdulkadir Buhari Gora, noted that the state government was also looking into the request of 33kv generator, utility vehicle, office accommodation among others with a view to solving their problems

He called on the management of the NYSC to avoid relocating of the corp members posted to the state to other states as the state needs their services.
The governor also commended the effort of President Muhammad Buhari for increasing the allowances of the corps members to thirty-three thousand Naira monthly.
Speaking earlier, the Zamfara State Coordinator of the scheme, Mohammed Namalam Taura urged the corp members to be law-abiding citizens in the Camp and in their places of primary assignments when posted out.
Over one thousand five hundred corp members were posted and registered in the Camp which include Medical Doctors, Pharmacists, lawyers, social scientists, educationists among others.
