N’Aaliyah Jno. Baptiste, a 16-year-old from Dominica, gained admission to Edward Waters University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 3.94/4.00 GPA in Mathematics at age 19, and will pursue an MBA at Louisiana State University.

At just 16 years old, N’Aaliyah Jno. Baptiste, originally from Dominica, gained admission to Edward Waters University in Florida and graduated with a first-class degree in Mathematics at the age of 19, achieving an impressive 3.94 out of 4.00 cumulative GPA.
Baptiste began her education at Convent High School in Dominica but relocated to the United States due to a hurricane. In the US, she excelled academically, advancing a grade level in high school because of her outstanding performance, and graduated with top honors, gaining acceptance to multiple colleges. She ultimately chose Edward Waters University, where she was awarded a Presidential Scholarship to study Mathematics and became the youngest student on campus at 16.
Continuing her academic excellence at Edward Waters, Baptiste also participated actively in campus life. She took a brief hiatus to join the United States Army, where she performed exceptionally well, and remarkably, this did not delay her studies—she graduated alongside her peers the same year.
Baptiste graduated Summa Cum Laude and was the second-highest-ranked student in her class. Among her achievements, she received the Highest Student Government Association GPA Award, was named to the President’s List five times, the Provost’s List, and the Dean’s List. She also received the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) Scholarship in Spring 2019, served as an Orientation Workshop Leader, and held the position of Sophomore Class Vice President in the Student Government Association for 2019-2020.
Baptiste is set to pursue a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, United States.
