University of Lagos (UNILAG) School Of Foundation Studies screening procedure for the candidates admitted during the 2024/2025 academic session.


The management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) School of Foundation Studies has released the screening procedure for candidates that were successful at its 2024/2025 academic session screening exercise.
UNILAG JUPEB Screening Procedure for Newly Admitted Students
Did you sit for the Entrance Examination of the School of Foundation Studies, University of Lagos.
Did you score forty percent (40%) and above?
Please note that:
- Applicants whose names appear on the Admission List scored Forty Percent (40%) and above in the Entrance Examination of the School and have been offered provisional admission.
- There will be a Screening Exercise for these applicants from Wednesday, October 2 to Friday, October 4, 2024 (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily) at the Multipurpose Hall.
- Lectures will begin on Monday, October 7, 2024
- Orientation Programme for all admitted students will hold on Thursday, October 17, 2024. (Attendance is Compulsory)
- Below is the Guideline for the Screening Exercise:
Visit www.foundation.unilag.edu.ng, click on Student Page and Log in to the Student Portal as follows:
Username: Application Number (e.g. M23323999)
Password: Surname (in Lower Case)
- Update the Biodata Form:
- Ensure names are correct and in proper order: Surname, First Name, Other Name.
- The order of names should conform to details on Birth Certificate, NIN, and “O” Level Statement of Result.
- Print Out the Biodata Form.
- For Members of Staff of the University of Lagos, LUTH and retired members of staff of the University of Lagos, please visit the HRMD Office at the 2nd Floor of the Senate House to update your children’s biological status.
After that, return to the Student Portal to update the Biodata Form which will then reflect the Tuition Fee for Staff Biological Children. Thereafter, print out the Biodata Form.
- Print out your provisional Admission Letter from the student portal, thereafter go through conditions guiding the admission as stated in the Acceptance Letter, if agreeable, download and generate Pay Advice for the payment of Twenty-Eight Thousand , Five Hundred Naira only (
N28,500:00) as acceptance and ID card fees via the University payment platform. - After payment, go online to print out your Letter of Acceptance, sign it and proceed for the screening exercise.
- The Screening Exercise will hold from Wednesday, October 2 to Friday, October 4, 2024 at the Multipurpose Hall from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily.
- Admitted Students must be physically present for the Screening Exercise.
- These are the documents to be presented by admitted students at the Screening:
- NIN Slip
- Offer of Admission Letter
- Duly signed Acceptance Letter/Evidence of Acceptance Fees.
- Birth Certificate
- Testimonial from Secondary School attended
- “O” Level Result
- Reference Letter from a Clergy/Imam/Lawyer/Senior Public Servant.
- Bring along Original Copies of all credentials and 2 Photocopies of each original credential.
- Return to your student portal at foundation.unilag.edu.ng and re-log in to generate your Pay Advice (This Pay Advice will include all other fees (payment of 50% of Tuition is available on the page).
- With the Pay Advice, proceed to the bank to pay the other necessary fees including Tuition Fees. (It is MANDATORY that students pay at least half of the Total Fee before the commencement of Lectures)
- Lectures resume immediately as scheduled on the lecture timetable (9am-6pm daily).
