- The leadership of the house has engaged all stakeholders and has promised to find a possible solution to recommend to the president in a couple of days.
- The office of the accountant general of the federation promised to look into issues concerning payment platforms like UTAS, IPPIS and others.


Recall that, the leadership of the House of Representatives, on Wednesday 29th September, had a meeting with the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) in a bid to end the ongoing strike.
Reports revealed that Femi Gbajabiamila, the speaker, will lead the leadership of the house of representatives to president Buhari to find a solution to the strike.
The speaker said that the leadership of the house, will come up with reports on it’s discussion with key stakeholders in the dispute and come up with recommendations to help the president to view issues at hand from an informed second option.
The speaker also said the information gathered from the extensive interactions would help the house arrive at fact-based recommendations for the resolution of the crisis.
Still on ASUU strike
The office of the accountant general of the federation (AOGF), has expressed its willingness to address all payment platforms issues.
Payment platforms has been one of the major causes of the dispute between the federal government and ASUU.
