Meet Cynthia Abla, Brilliant Girl With Straight 8A’s in WAEC Who Hopes to Study Medicine & Surgery Abroad

Cursory: A brilliant Ghanaian teenager who obtained eight A’s in the 2022 WASSCE needs help to pursue her “Medicine and Surgery” dream abroad.

Baragbor Cynthia Makafui Abla, a brilliant Ghanaian lady who obtained eight As in the 2022 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), needs help. The 18-year-old desires a career in the medical field but may have to put her dream on hold due to financial constraints.

The young woman studied Science and bagged A’s in Social Studies, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science, Elective Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and English Language.

According to Sylvia Esi Awuye on Facebook, Abla has purchased forms from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and the University of Ghana, Legon, to further her education but is also seeking help to study abroad.

”It’s her dream to become a Medical doctor. To support or enquire more get in touch with her Elder brother Atisu Jerome Christopher at +233 249 224 509 / +233 244 672 353 or her teacher Foga Nukunu,” portions of the post read. Speaking in a telephone conversation, Abla’s brother, Atisu Jerome Christopher, confirmed that she attended Keta Senior High School.

”She completed the school with eight As in WASSCE. We’ve bought forms for KNUST and Legon. I’ve also started the process for her school abroad,” he told reporters.

He said they were able to afford her forms but need help to finance her education. ”It’s more about money. We need a scholarship for her”. Scores of netizens took to the comment section of Sylvia Esi Awuye’s post to react after it surfaced.
