JAMB Aspirant Accuses Mr. Segun, Owner of ‘The Connection Tutorial’, of Harassment and Assault

A JAMB aspirant has accused Mr. Segun, the owner of The Connection Tutorial, of harassment and physical assault, sparking outrage and calls for his arrest on social media.

A JAMB aspirant has come forward with serious allegations against Mr. Segun, the proprietor of ‘The Connection Tutorial’, claiming that he made inappropriate advances towards her and physically assaulted her.

In a series of videos posted on her TikTok account, she shared her distressing experience, alleging that not only Mr. Segun, but also his wife and sister-in-law attacked her at the tutorial center.

The aspirant explained that she faced difficulties generating her JAMB profile code, leading her mother to seek out assistance from Mr. Segun. He assured them he would help resolve the issue. However, after their initial encounter, he began to frequently call her, insisting she come to the center, often leaving her to wait as he attended to other students.

In early February, after paying her fees in advance on January 28, she visited the tutorial center. Despite having paid, she claims she was asked to wait outside while another student who had not paid was allowed entry. As she attempted to place her bag inside before complying with the request to wait outside, Mr. Segun allegedly struck her with a wire and began hitting her. In defense, she pushed him away, resulting in him falling, injuring his arm, and breaking his phone.

Following the altercation, Mr. Segun’s wife reportedly confronted the aspirant, using derogatory language and accusing her of immoral behavior. In retaliation, the aspirant claimed to have revealed that Mr. Segun had been making unwanted advances toward her. This confrontation escalated, with the wife’s sister allegedly joining in to physically assault the student.

“I used to attend this tutorial. Mr. Segun was supposed to assist me with my JAMB profile code issue after my mum approached him for help,” she stated. “Since then, he frequently called me and asked me to wait after lessons. The first time, he made me wait while he attended to others, so I left. Another time, I refused to wait again, and he later told my friend that he would punish her for taking me home.”

Her claims have ignited significant outrage online, with many social media users flocking to the comments to voice their opinions on the matter.
