A Nigerian lady posted to Borno State for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has shared an emotional account of the long and tense journey she undertook to reach her orientation camp.

A Difficult Trip Through Security-Tense Routes
Identified on TikTok as @shimmer.cakes.n.e, the corps member said she spent almost two full days travelling by road before finally arriving at the NYSC Orientation Camp in Borno.
She revealed that the state’s security situation weighed heavily on her mind throughout the trip, making each hour on the road more stressful.
Documenting Her Journey
When she eventually got to the camp, she shared videos of the environment and expressed joy and relief at completing the long trip. In another clip, she revealed that she is the first member of her family to participate in the NYSC, making the moment even more emotional for her.
