Outstanding African Lady Celebrates Bagging 5 Major Awards in An Indiana Varsity, Says she Never Expected it

Cursory: Roseline Adewuyi has recently taken to social media to express her surprise at winning 5 awards from her school in 2022.

Roseline Adewuyi, an outstanding young woman has recently gone on LinkedIn.com to express her surprise at receiving awards from her school.

According to her, “If someone had told me in January that I would receive any award from my university before the end of the year, I would have taken such forecast with a grain of salt. Well, these are the last weeks of 2022, and so far, I have five to my credit: The 2022 Leadership in Action Award by the Susan Bulkeley Butler Center for Leadership Excellence being the latest addition.”

“This particular Award stands out because the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Diversity, Jay T. Akridge, presented it to me! The other Awards I have received asides the aforementioned in order of reception are:

1. Student of the Year 2022, Purdue University by Office of the Provost.

2. Boiler Changemaker Award by Graduate School, Purdue University.

3. Excellence in Teaching Award by School of Languages and Cultures.

4. Achievement Award by Nigerian Students Association at Purdue. she added.

The young woman had also received the Berenice Caroll Award for Peace, Feminism and Social Justice Award, Most Distinguished Honors in the area of Gender Advocacy and Research in Purdue.

“Last year, I received the Berenice Caroll Award for Peace, Feminism and Social Justice Award, Most Distinguished Honors in the area of Gender Advocacy and Research in Purdue.”

She went ahead to show sincere gratitude to God and everyone who stood by her and contributed to her achievements directly and indirectly.

“Thank you to everyone who supported me as I marched on to add the latest feather in my cap: worthy of mention is Dr. Temitope F. Adeoye, PhD, the 2021 recipient of the award who doubled as the mentor Nigerian Students Association at Purdue paired me with last year.

“Despite that you had become an alumna, you spared your precious time to monitor and pave the way for me. You are such a dynamic lady, and I really do appreciate your priceless contributions. Many thanks, too, to Dr. Ajuwon Kolapo and Dr. Allert Beate who vouched for my excellence with their valued recommendation.

“I cannot thank you enough. Thank you to the former president of the Nigerian Students Association at Purdue who handed over to me for honoring me with your presence, Tobi Ogunribido.

“To my friend and Flatmate, Feyisayo AKANDE , and Ola. Thank you for your presence.I dare not fail to singularly credit God for this. May I never ridicule the impacts of His grace and mercy over my life and attribute it to my efforts. To Him I owe them all, and through me, His Light will continue to shine, and I will continue to root Him on. That I may be shown forth to the world so everyone may acknowledge Christians lead, and excel in their fields, wherever they take root. PS: Work, with faith, works wonders — with these two working seamlessly to guide my resolve, every place whereupon the soles of my feet tread shall be mine.”
