Kogi State College of Health Sciences & Technology Idah 19th Matriculation Ceremony Date Announced


The Kogi State College of Health Sciences and Technology, Idah, has officially welcomed its newest cohort of students into the institution. The college held its matriculation ceremony on March 12, 2026, at the College Convocation Square, commencing promptly at 10:00 a.m.
The event marks the formal admission of students into the academic programs of the institution for the academic year. According to the program of event, the ceremony was graced by key figures from the institution’s Governing Council, Academic Board, and Management.
Sanusi Maratafu, the Acting Provost of the college, played a key role in the proceedings, symbolizing the institution’s commitment to maintaining academic standards during this transitional leadership period.
The event also recognized the presence of Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Ahmed Usman Ododo, acknowledging his role as the visitor to the institution and his support for educational advancement in the state
The matriculation ceremony serves as a formal rite of passage, where new students take an oath to abide by the college’s regulations as they begin their academic journey in health sciences and technology.
