A Nigerian father has shared his son’s WAEC result on Facebook, showing that he performed excellently, scoring A1 in some subjects

It is quite amazing how someone can amount to such a great feat for not working so hard for it. Let’s place an assumption how he would have been celebrated by the nation if he had worked hard for it. Truth be told, such natural brilliance is highly applaudable.
A Nigerian father has shared his son’s impressive West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) result on Facebook.
He praised the boy’s natural intelligence and academic excellence.
The father, Azubuike Ihemeje, posted a photo of the result slip that showed that his son scored 3 A’s and 6 B’s. Ihemeje stated that the son didn’t need the result to be out before proceeding for the UK’s equivalent.
He doesn’t need it for anything, and never prepared for this exam any day
– his FB post reads
He’s already proceeded with UK equivalence.
Just did this for record purposes, yet the natural genius could not hide
He said he’s not impressed, but I say I’m deeply delighted
Shunnnnn for the genius!✊✊
This action reveals the amount of confidence the young student has.
Ihemeje said his son did not prepare for the exam and did it for record purposes.

When Legit.ng contacted Ihemeje, he confirmed the result and said he was very proud when he saw it. He also spoke of his aspirations for him in the future.
He told Legit.ng: “I wish him to be the very best in all his future academic endeavors. As a genius, I wish to see him as top notch innovator of some sort in tech.”
He went further to advice other parents to give their best in supporting their children from early age. In his words; “I wish other parents would start their kids very early. Teach them the virtues of academic excellence from the cradle.”
