2024 UTME: JAMB To Give Out English Novel for Free

From 2024, JAMB will give out their Recommended Novel to all their Candidates for FREE.

Good News for 2024 JAMB Candidates as the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announces that they will give out their E-Recommended English Novel for Free.

This was disclosed in JAMB weekly Bulletin, Volume 3, No 58, available on the board’s website.

According to JAMB, the softcopy (likely PDF) of their recommended Novel for 2024 will be available for candidates to download for FREE.

Candidates can download the free novel through JAMB’s official website. The soft copy will also be sent to the candidate’s registered email.

“This e-copy of the reading text would be issued through the Board’s website, candidate’s e-mail, candidates’ Profiles and QR codes to be made available on the registration slip usually issued to candidates who successfully complete their registration,” says JAMB.

Why is JAMB Novel Available for Free

According to JAMB, they decided to make the novel available for free because of the current bad situation of the economy.

In their words: “As part of the efforts to minimize the impact of the prevailing economic situation on potential candidates, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board(JAMB)has indicated its readiness to commence the issuance of free e-copy of the recommended reading text to all candidates.”

The bulletin also disclosed that the Board is not unaware of the high cost of running the CBT centers, especially with the high cost of diesel, and has, therefore, approved minimal increments pertinent to CBT centre charges.

As of the time of updating this page, JAMB is yet to officially announce the name of the novel for 2024.
