Paul Odyras Okoye a medical student at Lagos State University College of Medicine, Lagos was the essay competition winner of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS) Foundation

Paul Okoye’s essay, which was selected from more than 300 submissions submitted globally, not only proved his academic prowess but also highlighted his dedication to promoting awareness of neurosurgery.

His extraordinary contribution was acknowledged by the WFNS Foundation, which is committed to promoting neurosurgery and motivating medical students.

Another remarkable student Emmanuel Muchai, a student from Kenya, was also recognized.

Paul’s accomplishment highlights the significance of this esteemed award on a global scale.

Paul received a full scholarship to the prestigious 2023 Neurosurgical World Congress in Cape Town, South Africa, as part of this honor.
