Nigerian Law Graduate Achieves 4.96 CGPA, Earns Scholarship for Master’s Degree

Ozioma Soludo graduated with a 4.96 first-class degree in Law from Nile University, earned multiple awards, and secured a scholarship for her master’s, aspiring to become a judge at the International Court of Justice.

Ozioma Soludo has distinguished herself as one of the top law graduates in Nigeria, earning a first-class bachelor’s degree in Law from Nile University with an outstanding 4.96/5.00 CGPA. Her academic excellence earned her multiple awards, including the title of best graduating student in the Faculty of Law, as well as a partial scholarship to pursue a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree.

From the beginning of her studies, Ozioma was determined to achieve a perfect 5.0 CGPA, maintaining a flawless record for four out of five years. Though she ultimately fell just short, she remains proud of her achievement, seeing it as proof that dedication and perseverance yield results. She described her journey as one of faith and hard work, stating that “dreams do come true, and Allah listens if you truly put your heart to it.”

Following her undergraduate studies, Ozioma enrolled in the Nigerian Law School, a mandatory step for aspiring lawyers in the country. In 2022, she successfully completed her training with honors and was called to the Nigerian Bar, marking an important milestone in her legal career. This accomplishment further solidified her reputation as a promising legal scholar.

With the partial scholarship she earned, Ozioma returned to Nile University in 2023 to pursue an LL.M. in Energy Law and Natural Policy. She continued her tradition of academic excellence, graduating with distinction and deepening her expertise in legal studies. Her determination to excel in specialized legal fields reflects her commitment to making a significant impact in the legal profession.

Looking ahead, Ozioma aspires to become a judge at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), where she hopes to contribute to global legal discourse and the pursuit of international justice. Her inspiring journey serves as a testament to the power of ambition, resilience, and hard work, proving that great success is possible with the right mindset and dedication.
